2025 Still Standing
Women's Health Empowerment Luncheon
The Ivy Heritage Foundation of Irmo, Incorporated is thrilled to announce our 14th annual Still Standing Women’s Health Empowerment Luncheon, an inspiring event dedicated to celebrating and advancing the health and well-being of women in our community.
This year’s luncheon will focus on menopause and our theme is
"The Power Pause". In this conversation, we will shine a light on the physical, mental, and emotional realities Black women navigate during perimenopause and menopause, as well as the unique challenges and health disparities they often endure.
A keynote address will be delivered by Dr. Jandrette Rhoe, a board-certified physician with over 25 years of experience in family and integrative medicine.
Our expert panel discussion will feature Dr. Nicole Edwards, who is a double-board certified Family Medicine and Obesity Medicine Physician,
Janet Foster, MEd, LPC, a licensed therapist, and Quan Jenkins, who specializes in holistic wellness for women of color. Together, these panelists will provide our audience with crucial education and support for those affected by menopause.
We will also encourage attendees to participate in our famous "Shoe Strut" competition, which inspires them to wear shoes to the event which make them "stand taller, feel stronger, and walk longer."
As part of our upcoming event, we are partnering with Power in Changing – Midlands to support their mission through a Donation and Diaper Drive.
We invite all registrants and chapter members to participate by bringing diaper donations to the event. Your contributions will directly support families in need within our community. Learn more about their impact: powerinchanging.org.
